BEGINNING QUILTING

Date: Mon. Jan 16, 23, 30 & Feb 6 & 13

Time: 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Cost: $60.00 plus book and supplies

This class is designed to teach you the basic techniques used in today's quilt making. You will learn to use a rotary cutter, piece a top, sandwich your quilt, quilt and bind it.

Please pick up a supply list when you register.













Chopsticks: A 60 degree triangle project

Date: Thur. Jan 19 & 26

Time: 1:00 – 4:00

Cost: $25.00 plus pattern and supplies

This project, designed by Jay Bird Designs, is a great skill builder for learning to piece a 6 degree triangle.

You will learn tips on “sewing in the valley” as I like to say, when putting this angles together more precisely.











Zig Zag Rope Sewing Using Clothesline

Date: Sat. Jan 21

Time: 9:30 – 3:30

Cost: $20.00 plus book and supplies

A bit of a twist on an original project. No need to wrap the robe as sometimes is the case. Just zig zag, learn to leave it flat for a trivet, or curve it for a ‘trinket’ bowl.

You will probably have time to do both.













Jelly Roll Rug +

Date: Sat. Feb 18

Time: 9:30 – 3:30

Cost: $20.00 plus pattern & supplies

Here is a great project to use up those extra jelly rolls in your stash or cut up your stash into 2 ½ inch strips for a stunning rug!   We will use the jelly roll tube maker by Gypsy quilter.










LOG CABIN NIGHTS

Date: Thurs. Feb 2 & 9

Time: 1:00 – 4:00

Cost: $25.00 plus tools & pattern









By combining two popular blocks, the log cabin and strippy star you will complete this table runner. We will use the log cabin trim tool and strippy star tool by creative grids. These two great tools will allow for creating perfection…honest














Captivate by Deb’s Cats N Quilts Designs

Date: Thur Feb 16 & 23

Time: 1:00 – 4:00

Cost: $25.00 plus pattern & tools

This popular quilt has many admirers since it has been in the shop, therefore, lets just make it again. Such a fun and simplified method of making a courthouse step block. Included will be using the Kitty Cornered Tool, also a very popular block tool by Creative Grids. Think of all the color combinations that would create a stunning quilt!!!

This unique and exclusive design can now be accomplished using the XL Cat’s Cradle tool by Creative Grids. The quilt is constructed in quadrants, therefore, two completed different looks can be achieved.
